Every 5 years the Government of New Zealand reports to the UN Human Rights Committee. Shadow reports are primarily written for the independent members of the United Nations Human Rights Committee, for their formal consideration of New Zealand’s fifth periodic report under the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.
