UN Cases and Reports

Tony is the only New Zealand lawyer with a regular UN Human Rights Committee practice. Cases can not be taken to the UNHRC until all domestic remedies have been exhausted ie all appeals including leave to appeal to the Supreme Court.

Tony to date has the only three successful cases to the UNHRC since they were able to be lodged in 1989 and one successful case to the UN Working Group on Arbitrary Detention and one successful case to the UN Committee Against Torture.
