Tony has been an active Civil Libertarian for more years than he can care to remember. For eight years he was either Chairman or President of the New Zealand Council of Civil Liberties. During that time he spoke publicly on a significant number of issues and was particularly keen to make the Civil Liberties voice to be heard before Select Committees.
